i love this girls' laid back look. it has me looking forward to spring, a little sun, and some exposed skin. wish i could zoom in to see them up close, i'm hoping that pattern is embroidered all-over....or beaded, even better!

warming patterns, sf > nyc, oct.09

my trip to the west has left me feeling totally in love and inspired by my amazing friends. 5 days of wine, food, campfires, dancing, hot tubs and beach beauty are to blame. lindsay the beautiful bride wore the best pair of light grey tights on her big day and i'm now convinced that patterns and textures are the new solids. fogal has a few gorgeous pairs to make the transition easy breezy:

what to wear: coastal wedding weekend, mendocino, oct.09

my precious friend LeRoy is gettin hitched this weekend! i fly into san francisco tomorrow, get to visit some beauties for a couple days and then off we go to a weekend in mendo. the list of events is a lengthy one and i'm trying to do strictly carry-on, so need to be smart about the pieces i choose. just checked the weather forecast and i'm so excited to report sunny skies through sunday! sunshine and 60s means sweaters and sunglasses and mendocino draws out the flannels and duck boots in me!
