Flashing Lights pt.IV, NYC, Dec.08
This dress is so golden it speaks for itself.
Are you even required to wear shoes with a number like this? I think not.

Flashing Lights pt.III, NYC, Dec.08
Looks like NY Times Pulse' Karin Nelson and I are on the same page about one thing: mixing it up New Years Eve. "Right now, downing Champagne in a snuggly romper sounds like the best idea around."

Zig~Zags, NYC, Dec.08
Maybe my taste level has lowered, but I happen to think these Zig~Zag "Winos" are some cool canvas kicks that all dudes should own. And at $20/pair you can afford all the colors in the rainbow.

Snow bunny, SF, Dec '08
Im getting Stink snow boots for Christmas this year and surprising him with a trip to Apple Hill and a hot spring this January. So obvi I have to be cute as well. One of the above is what Im thinking I'll wear with my mother's snow leggings from the 80's and my vintage mint snow jacket.

Flashing Lights, NYC, Dec.08
It's about that time of year when you'll likely find me searching "vintage sequin xs" on eBay in hopes of finding the perfect champagne-sippin new years ensemble. This year I'll mix it up a bit and avoid the old, familiar fall-back: the little black dress.
I would pair this perfect sequin top with vintage tap pants...
or with these vintage Carmen Marc Valvo satin slacks...
and don't forget the sexy strappies...

Reception Dress, SF, Dec 08
I went into the Marc Jacobs store the other day to see if they had any early Spring dresses in. I'm thinking for my reception dress I would wear a super cute, super stylish cocktail dress in lieu of a traditional wedding dress. The very polite lady showed me this in their Resort catalogue. Too bad they only made in a size no larger than 6. I have some "bride body" goals, but a size 6 is NOT one of them. Oh well...but for you skinny ass bitches, enjoy!

Back in the New York Groove, NYC, Dec.08
Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Proof? My heart is aching for the unique New York-ness I've been missing these past few weeks. Give me subways and bridges and shoebox apartments. Give me beanies and puffas and peep gloves galore, in charcoals and slate greys and ebonies and more.
