Reception Dress, SF, Dec 08

I went into the Marc Jacobs store the other day to see if they had any early Spring dresses in. I'm thinking for my reception dress I would wear a super cute, super stylish cocktail dress in lieu of a traditional wedding dress. The very polite lady showed me this in their Resort catalogue. Too bad they only made in a size no larger than 6. I have some "bride body" goals, but a size 6 is NOT one of them. Oh well...but for you skinny ass bitches, enjoy!

Back in the New York Groove, NYC, Dec.08

Distance makes the heart grow fonder. Proof? My heart is aching for the unique New York-ness I've been missing these past few weeks. Give me subways and bridges and shoebox apartments. Give me beanies and puffas and peep gloves galore, in charcoals and slate greys and ebonies and more.

Les Parapluies de Cherbourg

The Umbrellas of Cherbourgs' technicolor scenes, cute-as-a-button umbrellas and Catherine Deneuve's impossible wardrobe are just what a girl needs to turn a dreary gray day into a colorful stroll in the rain. Some perfect, puddle-jumping pieces:

Tie Bow, NYC, Nov.08

It's the year of the gentleman: shaken not stirred, dapper not dude and buttoned not zipped. He's perfected the art of a straight-razor shave and the dirty gin martini. What more could your gentleman ask for?

B-maids dream outfit, SF '08

Too bad this skirt wasn't over $700 or my b-maids would be rockin' it with a peach silk tank and nude ballet flats (prefferably the Chanel nude and black toe ones) at my wedding!
